A discounted Audition Fee applies if audition is submitted before June 14. If submitted within 8 weeks of the course start date, the regular audition fee will apply. Go to

Please note these deadlines:Until June 17, you may submit your audition to the SAA at a discounted rate. Auditions submitted early have the advantage of an optional retry (with fees) within the stated deadlines if your initial audition was not accepted.
From June 18 to August 2, you may submit your audition at the regular rate. Since it may take two weeks for approval, we suggest you submit your audition no later than July 29.
No auditions or course registration in Unit 1 as a Participant will be accepted after August 2.
Required Course Preparation:All teacher training participants are asked to prepare and memorize the repertoire to be studied to the point of fluent performance. Additionally, participants should be conversant with the ideas presented in Dr. Suzuki's book Nurtured by Love.
All participants will be performing Suzuki repertoire and other materials in class. It is recommended that participants take notes during all sessions. 100% attendance is required for registering the course. If your instructor has prepared additional materials for the course, they will be made available online or emailed to you.
You will also receive a letter from the SAA outlining the preparation requirements and basic course components. If your instructor has prepared additional materials for the course, they will be posted online for you.
Hours: 28 hours of class time. 15 hours of observation
Registration: Sunday Aug. 11 at 12:30 pm, and the course will begin Sunday afternoon
