Accommodation

The following residence accommodation options are available on campus. Students under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult in order to stay in the residence. Click any picture to get a virtual tour of the residence.

Your parking fee for the week is included in the accommodation fee (we’ll let you know which parking lots are available when you arrive).

Bricker Residence Apartment
Occupancy: Minimum 3 people; maximum 8 people

Each air-conditioned apartment contains 4 single bedrooms, 2 washrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The kitchen includes a stove and refrigerator but no microwave. Bedding and towels included. Please bring your own dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, and facecloths. A limited number of suites with wheelchair accessibility are available. On the main floor of the Bricker building, there is a games room with a pool table and a lounge with a large-screen TV. Coin-operated washers/dryers are located on each floor.

Cost: (tax included)
3 bedroom – $145 per night and $725 for a 7-night stay
4 bedroom – $160 per night and $925 for a 7-night stay
5 bedroom – off campus $185 per night and $1055 for a 7-night stay

There is also a $25 CDN residence booking fee. (minimum of 3 guests and maximum 8 guests per apartment). If two families wish to share an apartment, please include all names on one application & indicate which family is to be billed.

King Street Residence
Air-conditioned dormitory-style residence with single bedrooms (with single beds) and semi-private washrooms. Two common lounges on each floor contain a fridge, stove, microwave, and television. This is the only available residence with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms.

Single room with semi-private washroom – $75 per night and $325 for a 7-night stay
Each additional night beyond seven will be charged at the single-night rate above.

There is also a $25 CDN residence booking fee.

Residence Extras
High-speed wireless internet access is available in all residences. Extra mattresses, a limited number of TV/DVD players and microwaves, and coffee makers, etc. are available for nominal extra fees. Please ask Conference Services for these extras when you check in or email [email protected]

Residence Booking Fee: There is a $25 CDN fee for booking accommodation at WLU through SOSI. This fee is for the entire booking (e.g., for a family or individual). This will help to compensate the Institute for the many paid hours it takes to set up room bookings.

NOTE ABOUT PRICES: We try our best to be accurate, but typos sometimes happen. If there is confusion over pricing, our administrator has the final word. USD pricing will vary with the exchange rate (currently $100 CAD is approximately $70 USD). You can confirm the USD pricing at the time of your payment.
