During the summer months WLU offers limited options for meals on campus, Monday to Friday only. We suggest that commuters consider bringing a lunch each day, and that families staying on campus plan on making most of their meals in their residence.
Within a few blocks of campus there are many restaurants, ranging in quality and price from McDonald’s to various bistros, ethnic restaurants, American style family restaurants, cafés and pubs. Convenience stores are located adjacent to the campus, and major grocery stores are located within a five-minute drive. Drugstores, banks and cash machines are all nearby.
WLU is very close to the city’s downtown, and other shopping/dining/entertainment areas.
