Enrichment Unit: Positive Psychology and Suzuki Teaching

This course will explore the concepts of Positive Psychology as applied to Suzuki teaching. Suzuki’s foundational principles of creating a “positive environment” for students to best thrive, building character through music, and his desire for the “happiness of all children” are reflected and enhanced using Positive Psychology principles and practices.

Hours: 10 hours of class time. No observation required.

Prerequisites: Any adult with a minimum age 17 and a High School diploma.

Cost: $355 CDN
