Krystyna Henke,
former SOSI parent, journalist/Scholar, and PhD will present an in-person as well as online presentation for SOSI.

She says about her time at SOSI: “Every year at SOSI, our kids had an array of different and invariably fantastic teachers who all helped them to grow and to encourage their musical playing. As a Suzuki mom, I truly treasure the memories we created at SOSI.”

She will offer the talk for parents, answering the question: “What makes Suzuki a holistic pedagogy and how has it inspired therapeutic and social justice-informed violin, viola, cello, and double bass teaching and learning in refugee camps in the Middle East?”
