Explorations and Discussions:
An Invitation to Share Thoughts on Advanced Student Cello Repertoire
with Paul Pulford, our 2024 SOSI cello YAP instructor

This course will be a seminar with interested cellists and teachers to explore and experiment on advanced student concerti. The seminar format, rather than a formal lecture, will be a place for attendees to share ideas, issues and problems in a more direct and productive way. A survey will be sent to those attending for a final decision on repertoire, with the following pieces as a starting point:

Saint-Säens: Concerto in A minor, Op. 33
Casadesus (J.C. Bach): Concerto in C major
C.P.E. Bach: Concerto in A
Kabalevsky: Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 49
No prerequisites (enrichment course)
