Teaching Your Students to Improvise: Getting Started

Join improvisation pedagogue Laura Nerenberg to learn how to nurture your students' creativity. Through musical exercises, games and a touch of theory and philosophy, you'll get a taste of how easy and fun it is to work creatively with your students. This is a participatory event, so please have your instrument on hand and be prepared to play in a warm, non-judgemental environment. No previous improvisation experience is required. Open to all faculty and teacher development participants.

Those eligible: SOSI faculty and Teacher Development participants of all instruments

Cost: $50 CDN

If you are a Teacher Development Participant, you can include the seminar on the TD application form. Otherwise, use a String or Piano application form and select SEMINAR for your Program.
